You need to first check with your local Realtor Association or the
controlling association that controls the system to find out what you
can and cannot do. Here in Las Vegas our IDX gets info from the MLS
system. We have two choices on how home buyers can access it. You can
have an IDX link for $199 per year or we can use MLxchange Professional
which gives me a link into the search engine of the MLS system, through
my own personal page. This allows me to put my photo and logo on the
search page. We can not change the look of our IDX system. So
if you select the button it will take you into the IDX system and your
page will look like whatever has already been set up.

When you select your Broker ask many questions not only about IDX but
about your complete marketing plan. Many large companies will not
allow you to do too much altering of their tried and proven ways of
marketing and have guidelines on how personal web sites should look.
